• So.

It's finally here.
I am sitting at my desk in my Pembroke room at 6:00am and the room is empty.

I'm leaving for the airport in 20 minutes.

Somehow I have this huge ache in the bottom of my stomach.

We had our last formal hall last night, as in, just a few hours ago. It really hit me then that there are people that I am never going to see again, in my entire life.

Well.

Home awaits.

I am Katherine.

I am studying abroad for the next two months.

I am studying at
the University of Cambridge,
which is in Cambridge,
which is in England,
which is in Great Britain,
which is in the United Kingdom

I finally know the difference between all of the above.

Cambridge is made up of 31 colleges.

I am studying at a joint programme based in King's College and Pembroke College, and I am living in Pembroke College.

This is my first time out of the country.

I went to Canada once when I was 8, but I don't really know if that counts. I saw some moose.

I will probably be posting a smattering of pictures and comments about things that fascinate me, as always.

The weather there will probably be partly cloudy a lot.
